L A D Z g A Q L y M RECIPE OF THE WEEK -CHEESE SQUFFLE 5 tbs. butter or margarine 3 TDS, Trour 1/2 tsp. salt Few grains pepper 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce A egg whites dash tabasco 3/h cup milk 1-1/2 cups grated American cheese 4 egg yolks Melt butter or margarine; blend in flour, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and tabasco, Gradually add milk, Cook over hot water, stirring constantly, until thick, Add cheese. Beat egg yolks: add. Cool. Beat egg whites stiff, but not dry; fold in. Pour into greased baking dish. Bake in moderate oven (325°F,) 1 hour. Pat had spent the previous two weeks with her Mother, Mrs, J. P. Hunt at hei home in Egansville, Ontario. Miss Gail MacDonald of London, Ont. arrived to spend the Christmas holidays with her sister-in-law and brother, Glenna and Jim MacDonald and has now decided to make her home here, Spotted at the Lakehead last weekend were: Jim and Audrey Rowley, Mac Craig, Don Ollen-Bittle, Jack Humphrics, Chuck Haviland, Dan MacFayden, Frank Surnell, Marg Phillips, Charlotte Ross, Rosemary Sernesky who brought home son Michael from a visit in Port Arthur, John and Ev Garvin, John and Freda Knight, George Morar and Bill Broome, Miss Jane Porter, daughter of D, GC.
