Betty Ann Fisher, violinist, with her brilliant interpretations thrilled her audience with the ever-beautiful Song ox India by Rimsky Korsakov. Singers were Miss Helen Hajnik, Mezzo- Soprano and Vaclovas Verikaitis, bass, Miss Hajnik held her audience completely enthralled during each of her songs, but perhaps received the loudest acclamation for O Mio Fernando (La Favorita) by Donizetti. No stranger to Terrace Bay, Mr. Verikaitis repeaved his successful performance of last year giving a magnificent rendition of Serenade by Moussorgsky and as a finale "God Bless Canada" by Crown and Gibbs, a song he had previously introduced over T.V. The next concert to be held in Terrace Bay will be on November 24th. The artists to appear will be described prior to their arrival, Everyone is urged to keep this date open as only artists of outstanding talent are presented on this concert series, O-0-0 FOR ale 39 J Pontiac for sale or haces Contact F, Whitficld at 268, One 30-06 Springfield Rifle, Pathe 273 and ask for Willy, Page 5 COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES Would the parents of the High School students, and others who may be inter- ested, please make a special effort to attend the Commencement Exercises to . be held Friday, November 4th, at 8:15 pem.
