HOUSE LEAGUE HOCKEY On Friday. night the first game of the semi-finals between Shift #3 and Structural was played. In the first period #3 boys did all the scoring. Zeigleman 'from Cote, Kurylo unassisted, Cote unassisted and Cote from Reid, The penalties went to Crockford and L. Belliveau for Shift #3 and Delaronde for Structural. The second period was also #3 shifts as E, Belliveau scored un- assisted and Bottomley added one with assist from Belliveau, Then to end the period Ed Belliveau scored again with assist from Papousek, This made a total of 7-0 for #3 Shift. In + the penalty box were Dakin for Shift #3 and Delaronde for Structural. In the third period things looked different, Structural came out to put on the power and after Cote with assist from MacDonald scored one for Shift #3 Winters for Structural upset everything and scored unassisted, That was Struct-- ural's only count, Zeigleman of Shift #3 was credited with a goal due to a miscalculation of one of the Structural boys, who shot the wrong way. Cote and Kurylo made the last two scores for Shift #3 with assists from MacDonald and Ed Belliveaue. There. will be heproneitspele from clubs as far away as Fert Francis so let's get out to the meetings and show the other clubs that there are some people in this district interested in Conservation, The meeting schedule will be pub- lished in the next issue of the Terrace Bay News, so watch for it and plan on attending these meetings. 0-0-0 ATTENTION FIGURE SKATERS This coming Saturday, March 19th, marks the date of our first annual figure skating carnival, .and with your fullest support, we think it will be worth all the time and effort we have expended to date, | Remember: There are still two rehearsals before the day of the show. Tonight, Thursday, March 17th, from 3:30-5:30 poms Friday night (DRESS REHEARSAL) from 6: 230- E200 PeMe It is absolutely necessary that all skaters attend these two rehearsals. As mentioned in last week's news, for Dress rehearsal and also on the day of the show, all the Kittens, Teddy Bears, Eskimos, Snowmen, Penquins and Icicles are requested to wear their costumes to the rink in order to avoid congestion in the dressing rooms, All skates and laces must be clean for both dress rehearsal and the actual show on Saturday. If skate laces are knotted or broken, please see that new laces are substituted. On the day of the Carnival, Saturday March 19th, all skaters must be at the Tank at leek 5 Dem, Remember - all costumes must be ready and worn at.dress rehearsal, with no exceptions. Let's buckle down and see that this, our first carnival is a huge success, There are still several skaters who have not paid their costume fee, please see that this fee is paid as quickly as possible, as we have financial obligations to meet at the Lakehead.
