Mr. Stier was most pleasing fin his encore, "Women are Fickle", ' Miss 'Angela Antonelli having started her training at a very early age with her father, was extremely well-polished in her performance in all types including Mozart's Alleluia and Love is Where You "Find It. Both as a soloist and accompan- ist, more could not be desired of Miss Edith Meek, Her presentation of Beethoven's Allegro Vivace and Chopin's Waltzes Op, 69, Nos 1 and Op, 42 were superb. Miss Andre Hanson of Kenora, was the surprise of the evening. Only sixteen years of age, she had been called upon suddenly to replace the violinist Miss Marion Northrop due to an accident.
