Tuesday, night in Nipigon Terrace Bay Superiors met Geraldton Goldminers in a sudden death game to decide who would play Nipigon Flyers in the semi-finals, Ina slow first period Geraldton held the Sup- eriors- scoreless while collecting their only 3 goals of the game -'Ecclestone from Ey, Abraham, Ettinger from Petsura and Vasiloff unassisted. Five penatties-to Osmar-Hayes, Brassard and Diduch (2) were the downfall of the Superiors in this period, with Geraldton drawing 2 - Rusnak and J, Macdonald, The second period saw Terrace score twice Hayes from Brassard and Stachiw and Moro from Osmar and Diduch' with Geraldton leading the penalty parade with penalties to J.
