One - a sports night and the other - a dance, So, come out, and support your Teen Town, 0=0--0 LARGEST CIRCULATION IN TERRACE BAY er Se DERBY oes Se July 29, 195. , uo 4 DUQUETTE AND PAYETTE GRADUATE ie JUNIOR TRADESMAN PROGRAM On Thursday, July 22, 1954, Louis Duquette and Reg Payette were guests of honour at the Hotel Terrace as the most recent graduates of the LongLac Pulp and Paper Company's Junior Trades Program, This graduation brings the total alumi of LongLac's Junior Trades Program to thirteen, Lou Duquette graduated to a Millwright, Lou was born in Kenora, Ontario, He came to work for LongLac in July 1951 and it was in July 1951 that he was admitted to the Junior Trades Program, Lou is married and lives at 149 Birch Crescent, When Lou isn't busy in the mill, in the winter months, you can find him in the Curling Rink, Lou is one of the youngest "Skips" in the Local Club, Reg Payette is a pipefitter graduate, Reg was born in Port Arthur and educated in Schreiber, Reg started with the Company in July 1951, being admitted to the Junior Trades Program in September 1951. Reg is married and lives at 472 Princess Ave,, with his wife and son Sbtcovon,. Prior to joining LongLac, Reg was a member of Canada's famed Mounted Police. Reg played defence last year for Terrace Bay Superiors and did an effective job of bouncing the opposing hockey players around, There were many guests at the dinner which included ), ¥, Porter, Mill Manager Nae (conte on page 3)
