There will 'be some goad curling sver the weekend, So come out and Have fun, 0-0-0 KIWANIS CLUB HOLD SUCCESSFUL LADIES NIGHT On Tuesday March 9th, the Kiwanis Club of Terrace Bay, invited their ladies for dinner and an evening's entertainment at the Hotel Terrace, The entertainment portion of the program was under the capable chairmanship of Al Lindskoog, Al did a terrific job in lining up a program, The program was a "take off" of a television program, representing what view- ers will see when television comes to Terrare Bay. Al Lindskoog as M.C. of the show very capably impereonated Arthur Godfrey with the excellent support from Doug Harris, Their rendition of the program of Homer and Jethroe almost brought the house down. That new instrumental trio the Rhythmaires . supplied some excellent music, which contri- buted greatly to the success of the program, | A television show would not be complete without a Quiz program, Ken Weppler and Tom Walter as the Quiz masters conducted a (cont. on next. col.) A supreme effort of the Kiwanis Club featured a quartet of members sing- ing under the direction of Ernie Rowson. It's an instrumental trio tagged "The Rhythmairc: Organized a number of weeks ago to fill "a real need in the district, the trio is now available for boeking at events involving smaller groups of people who ¢auld not normally absorb the cost of a full dance orchestra.(As a matter of facet, members of the new trio are already in one or the other of Terrace Bay's two dance orchestras).
