Merten of the Community Programmes Branch of the Dept. of Education will give a demonstation on Puppetry, this Friday at 7:30 pem. in the Continuation School Auditorium. It is expected that all adults who are interested, will come out a take a look at this most interesting hobby. As a special effort to interest some of the "young fry" of the Community, Mr. Merten will give a demonstration to some of the pupils from all three schools, at 2:45 on Friday afternoon. Any shift work- ers who find themselves unable to attend the evening session are cordially invited to attend along with the children, 0-0-0 BASKETBALL TONIGHT As usual, basketball activity will prevail tonight at the Auditorium from 7:00 till 10:00 p.m. Plans are underway for the formation of a Basketball Club to operate at least for the balance of the year. In order to make the group self- supporting, it was decided at last week's session to assess each member the sum of $1.00 for membership and .25 cents for each night that he attends, These fees are a bare minimum required to cover operating expenses.
