SCHOOL OPENS SEPTEMBER 14217! As previously announced in the last issue of the News sc'ool opening was post- poned from September 8th until September 14th. Dr. McCausland asked that we express his appreciation to the parents for their co-operation in having their children observe the suggested precautions in order to prevent aS much as possible the further spread 'of polio. Registration for the new school term is as follows: MONDAY SPETEMBER 14 Public School Registration 9 a.m. to 12aMe. Continuation School 9 a.m. to teams Separate School Grade 1-8 9 a.m. to 12am, 1.30 Dem o-O-o other prizes - which is a total of one quarter of the prize money in the Derby. There were over 600 contestants regist- ered in the Derby. It was scheduled to be held on Sunday, September 6, but due to rough weather it was postponed until Monday. But -- the alleys will be open for open bowling starting Monday September 14, 7:00 pem. and will be open every night of the week 7 = 11 until league plays resume, new count will be used this season in 5 pins.
