It is quite possible that the final standings may show four teams tied for the 3rd and 4th playoff positions, In this event sudden death games will be scheduled to break any deadlocks existing for the coveted berths, Last Thursday evening softball fans were able to observe two glittering mound performances by Alf Adrain and Ed Aho, id@rain held the Shift #2 batters to 2 runs and 4 hits while striking out 11, Meanwhile f4ho making a fine comeback after his painful injury allowed but 6 hits good for 5 runs and recorded 10 strikeouts, Gillespie and Zeigleman each garnered 2 hits to assist the Shift #3 cause. The following night Maintenance edged Townsite 6-5 to keep alive their chances for a playoff spot .
