In all there were 48 prizes winners and these were spread over a potential 36 curlers, depending on which rink is declar- ed the Consolation winner in the Hiram- Walker event, If Al McColl's rink is declared Consolation winner then Pete Schrier will have the distinction of plac- ing on the most winning rinks - a total of three, Des Evans-Smith and Al Lindskoog are the only other curlers garnering more than one prize, Summarizing, Skips have a 40% chance of winning an event, Thirds have a 50% chance, Seconds - 40% chance and the lowly lead a ' 55¢, chence of winning.
