Show time is set for 8:00 p.m, 0-0-0 i CONTINU:.TION SCHOOL BOWLERS RECEIVE AMRDS at a recent Student and Parent Dance at the Continuation School, honours were show- | ered on the winners of the inter-form roll- offs which took place last December, The beautiful trophy donated by last year's Five Pin Bowling Assoc. was presented | by Mr. S. Jakobson to the winning team - Grade XI - who won with a total of 5098 pins, The members of this victorious team were Bill, Marsh (captain), Mavis McFadyen, Reg LeBlanc, Vinee Kenny, Ray Husband and Ray Stachiw. Next in line came the Grade X's with 4746 pins; next, Grade IX's with 4736 and last but far from least, came Grade XII with a total of 4713 pins, Perhaps it may be said: of the grade X1I's that what they exceed in | mentality they lack in bowling! TONIGHT ERSHIP TRAINING COURSE In order to take the load off those people who seem to end up with the respons- ibility of operating the various organized groups in town, a Leadership Training Course has been planned to be held on March 30th, 3lst and April lst. This course will be conducted under the direction of the Commun- ity Programmes Branch of the Department of Hducation and will be open to anyone wishing to acquire Leadership knowledge, This course is not intended solely for those who have not had any leadership experience, as it is also important for those people working with groups to become more proficient in that particular field, It will be possible to accommodate up to 25 persons (male or female) and applica- tions will be handled on a first come, first served basis, Any persons wishing to enrol, should get their names into Ossie Dalzell or M, 0, Nelson as soon as possible, All sess- ions will be held in the evenings at the Continuation School, More details will appear: in the next two issues of the "News", CAL aren | 0-0-0 ST.
