SCHOCL RE-OPENED TUESDAY The Terrace Bay Public School opened its doors on Tuesday morning to 188 pupils who will spend the next 10 months studying the: three R's, In order to accommodate all of these pupils, an extre classroom had to be opened up this year which now makes ea totel of seven rooms in operation, one of them being for Kindergarten, where thirty-six newcomers were registered, Mr, Clarence Smith is Principal again this year, doubling in brass by teaching Grades 7 and 8, Mrs. Smith is also back again at her old spot as teacher of Grade l, We extend a hearty welcome to those new teachers who ere with us this year in the persons of Evangeline Paisley - Kindergarten, who ecnxlls Toronto her home; Helen Scott of Fort William is handling Grades 3 and 4; Ethel Message from Schreiber looks ofter Grade 2 and Patricia Dooling and Lois Windle, both from Pembroke district will be caring for Grades 4 and 5 2nd 5 and 6 respectively.
