This promises to be a very interesting subject, and will appeal to members and non-members of the Women's Institute. A cordial invitation is extended to all, 0-0-0 LADIES AUXILIARY MEETING HELD The May meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Terrace Bay Community Church was held Wednesday afternoon, May 4th, in the Community Church. The meeting was presided over by Mrs, R. Ostling. The meeting opened by the singing of a hymn, Mrs, G. Maitland read the scripture and the Lord's Prayer was repeated in unison, The minutes of the previous meeting were read and adopted, also the treasurer's report, . Mrs. R. Ostling reminded the ladies present of the Mother's Day tag day on Saturday. : Mrs. D. McDonald and Mrs. H. Byers were appointed to act along with the executive in purchasing furnishing for the manse. Mrs. H. C. Laundy took charge of the program for the afternoon, the topic being "Mother", Mrs. H. Wheeler gave a splendid talk on "How Mother's Day first originated", Mrs. K. Harmon sang a delightful solo "That Wonderful Mother of Mine", accompanied by Mrs. 8. Hodgkiss at the piano. Mrs. C. Harvey read a most interesting paper on "John Wesley's Mother", The meeting closed with the Mizpah Benediction, Lunch was served by Mrs. H. C. Laundy, assisted by Mesdames - H. Byers, V. Hopper, P.
