The first mecting of the Community Recreation Committee is scheduled for Monday, april 18th, at 7:40 p.m. in the Community Hall. Prior to that time each organization in the Community has been requests'.to elect their representative to the Advisory Council, This will mean a special effort on the part of the E::ecutive Officers of each organization to see that the necessary steps are taken to assure that thcir particular organization is given a voice on the Committee, Even if an orgenization is interested in nothing more than the use of facilitics like the Community Hall or Recroation H-1l it will be important for that organization to have the representation to which it is entitled in order that requests may be properly presented, Apart from this, the ideas of persons representing all the recreational and service organizations in the Community will undoubtedly sive us a broader type of program which will in turn craw many additional people into active participation in community recreation, And so it is that we Srcin urge full co-operation from a11 organizations and persons to whom the operation of our new Community Recreation Pvorrem is and will be entrusted, andin the finel enalysis thet really means each and every individual at Terrace Bey for through the elected representatives from each organization, everyone will have: the opportunity of having their ideas presented to the Committee and we feel sure that the representatives whose nemes will be published as soon as they are known, will welcome any suggestions which enyone my feel disposed to make,
