A pool of players is to be set up from which prospective Captains will choose their teams, The number of teams will be determined by the number of players interested in playing House League hockey. By using this method of developing teams, no team will be "stacked" and this should result in good conpetition, Everyone interested in playing hockey this winter at Terrace Bay should leave their name with one of the following: Bill Borsum, Harold Marsh, Eldon Marostica, Dave McDonald; Fred Soughton Or Harry Ganja. The question of a "Home and Home" hockey schedule involving Marathon, Schreiber, Nipigon, Red Rock and Terrace Bay was discussed by the executive and the Association Secretary was instructed to contact each of the above communities to see if such a schedule could be arranged. A. Kennedy on the evening of October 20th. Mrs. Rs Schneblespresident, conducted the meeting. The minutes of the last meeting were read by the secretary Miss T. Peaulmert. Reports were also given by the chairmen of the different committees. Two nov embers joined the group end the Guild vishcs to extend ~ welcome to other newcomers. S, Hodgkiss on Monday evening, October 18th Ob G25" pny During the meeting, plans were made for a short course in slipper-making. The course will be held in the Recreation Centre on November 4th and oth from 10:00 aym. to 4:00 p.m. daily. The course will be comducted by a specicl instructress from the Women's Institute headquarters. Any member of the Terrace Bay Women's Institute may take the course, and those wishing to enroll should contact the Secretary, Mrs. R. Harris, at 92 Hudson Drive, Mrs. George Maitland presented an interesting report to the mecting regarding her visit to the Women's Institute Convention et Rainy River. Graham, 0-0-0 SYMPATHY IS EXTENDED The many fricnds of Harry Genje at Terrace Bay were seddened to hear of the untimely death of his eighteen year old brother Joseph, who passed away in McKellar hospital at the Lakehead as 2 result of injuries received in a motor accident last Fridey.
