HP LOWER CAMP DOINGS The Lower Camp Administration Building has been enlarged and renovated to make room for the transfer of the LongLac Accounting Department from the Head Office in Toronto to Terrace Bay. Last night the Comptroller of the LongLac Pulp and Paper Co. Ltd sig at Shemanski, arrived here with Aceountant Archie Birnie. Mr. and Mrs, C.L.' Guest and daughter are expected to-day. Fred Carpenter; Terrace Bay manager of the firm, advises that to-day the 50th house of this year's program will be erected bringing the total number of houses at Terrace Bay to 125 all of which were prefabricuted by North american. Farrow, Manager of National Employment Service, Fort William and Miss Prout, Head of the Unemployment insurance Commission Claims Section, Fort William. onQe= QUR 25th EDITION OF TERRACE BAY NEWS Late last year, 4 issues of "Terrace Bay News" were printed but due to lack of stenographic help and adequate printing equipment it was not possible to resume publication of the paper until March 18th, 1947 when Volume 2 Edition #1 was published. This is our 25th edition this year and we are rather proud of the fact that we have been able to publish a 4 to 7 page paper each week. Much of the credit should go, of course, to those who have contributed articles regularly. Without such help it would not have been possible to cover the many news items which have appeared in the 130 pages of "Terrace Bay News" published tais yeer.
