It was a hard fought game all the way - both teams taking the lead during the game with the F-B boys finally nosing ahead in the last inning: to cop the game by the slender margin of one run, Both pitchers, Davis by name, pitched very good ball: allowing only one walk each with Fraser-Brace nicking "Red" for eleven blows while George held the Kilo- watts down to nine. Koch was'the leading Hydro hitter getting two singlets and a homer for his August 27, 1947 four trips while Moisan led the winners with three singlets for four. McDonald of F+B took fielding honors pulling down three well hit balls which certainly would have changed the game had he not speared them.
