Twentyesix pairs of cable will be strung to the Townsite and sixteen pairs to the Millsite. It's quite a ehore when you stop to consider that, in all, the boys will string more than 9,000 feet of cable to accomplish their objec- tive. It is amusing entertainment. -o0o- HOUSE SIXTEEN By Dolores Humby It seems to me that it's high time for the gals in House 16 to cough up with some of that news; one would think that nothing ever happened there but you'd be surprised - - or would you? Anyway, to say the least, they haven't even got a number on the house but everyone seems to know where it is and also what goes on inside, the latter being due to a lack of living-room curtains which we hope to have remedied shortly. In fact there was so much excitement within the past few days that the girls were obliged to write up a few rules in order to calm things down a bit. Between going to Schreiber, minding children, hiking and drinking coffee, the girls have to squeeze time out to write a few letters, do their washing and get a bit of rest. I'm afraid, sometimes, the rest isn't long enough and the next morning foretells some predominant characteristics on some of the faces. However, some bags aren't heavy and rings aren't always worn on fingers -- so who cares!
