Santa Claus came into my room and said "Ho, ho, ho, Merry Christ- mas D.J." I said "Oh my goodness, is that really you Santa?" "Come on big guy, let's go to the North Pole where I work," said Santa. "Let's take the reindeer." By the time we got there, it was one o'clock and there were presents to give out, but not at my house because he already gave them to us. We went to lots of places like Africa, Toronto and Win- nipeg, and by the time we got back, I was so sleepy. Santa carried me and tucked me in. When I woke up, it was Christmas day and there were lots of presents under the tree. There was a special one for me, and there was a note on it. It said "I hope you had fun last night. Do you remember all the Elfs' names? Merry Christmas D.J. See you next year." by Matthew = One Christmas Eve, Santa Claus accidentally woke me up. I said "Can you take me with you on your sleigh tonight?" Santa took a gulp, and said yes. I was very happy. I ran outside and got a ladder, but it was too short. So I took a jump, and I had to grab onto the drain pipe. And I finally got up, and said "Let's go." My house was the last. I said Corner of Hwy 17 & Winnipeg St. Page.5, Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1992, News The night Santa took me with him on Christmas Eve "Are you sure I'll make it home and get to sleep?" "Ho, ho, ho, of course," said Santa. "I only have a few more houses to go." I met Rudolph, Comet and Blazer. He had to use Blazer because Dasher's wife was having babies. Before you could say 'yes' 100 times, we were done. He gave me a toy I always want- ed. I was very happy. He took me to Terrace Bay. I couldn't believe it when we went golfing. Even the rein- deer were golfing. Every hole we got a hole-in-one. Then we went to Marathon. There we went skiing. I went on the main hill. There was a jump. I took it. I went five feet high and six feet down the hill. Then I went on the Roller Coaster. It was bumpy. I did seven houses and 18 in Thunder Bay. Then we went home. The next thing you know, it was Christmas day. The end. by Jay One Christmas night, I set my alarm clock for 12 in the moming, but it did not go off. The next morning, I was in the North Pole. I was scared. Then I looked at myself, and I said "Good, I have my snowsuit on." Then Santa came and brought me inside to warm up. I asked him why he brought me here. Santa said "I brought you here because I forgot where your house is." "Oh," I said. Then my head dropped, and I said "I do not know where north south, east or west is." "Neither do I," said Santa, "But do you know what town you live in?" "Yes, I live in Schreiber." "I do not know where Schreiber is -- I'll see if Rudolph knows." Rudolph did know where Schreiber is, and I said "Good, now you can deliver gifts in Schreiber. Now let's go." "Wee, this is fun," I said, "Now we are in Schreiber." "Where is your house?" asked Santa. "We're on top of it. Where is my gift? Oh, right here. Thank you. Bye."
