'There were 16 teams in all, and students from grades 6-8 participated, including three teams from Schreiber and seven teams from Terrace Bay. The Terrace Bay team of Paul Sheridan, Pat Stark, Julie Ronkainen Chantal Hamilton and Shannon MoQuin took first place. A team from Marathon took second place. John Paul St. Jules, Janice Russell, Craig Tiedtke and Courtney Manuel made up the Marathon team.
