The petite teams came from Geraldton, White River, Longlac and Nor-West (rural Thunder Bay); tween teams represented Longlac and Nor- West; and junior, belle and senior teams pooled into a four- team competition from Gerald- ton, White River, Thunder Bay and Terrace Bay. White River petites, Nor- Thunder Bay took a 1-0 lead West tweens and Geraldton seniors won bronze medals in their respective divisions. And for the first time I can remem- ber, all three Terrace Bay teams made it to the gold/silver medal games in their division. In hard fought matches against long-time rival Longlac, the petites and tweens won sil- ver medals. The Township of Schreiber, will act as the delivery agency for the service. ' An agreement has been reached with Birchwood Terrace Home for the Aged, whereby the specially equipped bus used at the Home, will be used to provide the service. The service initially will be on a trial basis, to determine, if there is a genuine need for the service ona long term basis. There is an Operating Committee established, which will provide direction as to policy, and procedures for ther ser- vice, and which will, as part of its mandate, have an Eligibility Committee who will evaluate applications for the service. Applications for the service are available, at the Municipal Office in Schreiber, and the Muncipal Office in Terrace BaY. All physically disabled persons who are unable to use con- ventional transit must apply, using the application form. Please contact the Municipal Office, in Schreiber, for more information as to service, it is expected, that the service will commence February 1, 1992.
