Bert is an OPP Officer and | Betty Ann is an OPP Dispatch- er in Schreiber. They were married this weekend and. they moved to Barrie after the ceremony. Bert and Betty Ann's partici- pation in establishing Block Pictured Srom right Bert Logan, John Este, Betty Ann McKenna, Ron McBride and Jack Whit- ton. They received the framed photo as a combination wedding present and thank you. Parents in Schreiber was quite important. Bert made presentations at local schools regarding the Block Parents program. Bert reports to the Barrie OPP on Nov. 4. The week of Oct. 21-27 is Block Parents week. Parents are screened by the OPP before they can put the sign in their window. There are 49 members in the Schreiber chapter. The president of the Schreiber Chapter is Madge Richardson, and _ Linda Collinson is Vice-president. Heather Vandergraaf is Chairperson, and Joe Pelto is Treasurer in Terrace Bay. Everyone is reminded that if a Block Parents sign is up and assistance is required, it is available.
