Page 9, News, Tuesday, September 3 1991 Leigh Isaacson of Terrace Bay was chosen as the Out- standing swimmer of Terrace Bay this year and was present- ed with the Tommy Duriez Trophy in honor of her achievement. The pool staff selected Leigh for several reasons. She has an outstanding attendance at lessons and recently com- pleted the Grey level of the Red Cross program. She is a swimmer who has a polite atti- tude and sets a great example for young swimmers. The Tommy Duriez Trophy has been presented annually to the outstanding swimmer of Terrace Bay, in memory of Tommy Duriez, a young boy who passed away over 20 years ago. Swim the Slates A lot of swimmers took part in the Swim the Slates Program this summer. Congratulations are due to everyone involved and especially to those who finished.
