If you require more information, please call Kevin at 825 - ------ S The Corporation of the Township of Terrace Bay Notice Residential Real Property Tax Credit For Seniors The Township Council has authorized a uniform Credit of up to $300.00 to the owners of residential real property against their property taxes provided that: 1. the owner, or the spouse of the owner occupy the property and it is their personal residence 2. the owner, or the spouse of the owner has reached the age of 65 3. must have owned the residential property for at least one year 4. only one credit per year per property is allowed 5. the owner or the spouse of the owner is receiving a month- ly guaranteed Income supplement under Part Il of the Old Age Security Act (Canada) The municipal tax credit will apply to any property taxes remaining after the receipt of the Provincial elderly tax assis- tance program credits. The $300.00 provided by the Township is a maximum. If your taxes are $800.00 and you receive $600.00 from the provin- cial elderly tax assistance program you will receive only $200.00 from the Township. The Schreiber office of North of Superior Programs will be closed from July 3rd until August 5th, 1991.
