At Schreiber Public School 12 students graduated: Kelly Favel, Nancy Garon, Tammy Goodmurphy, Ashley Halonen, Steven Hart, Kyle Long, Stephen Maenpaa, Evan McEwen, Johanne Park, Boe Tychoniak, Christina Reynolds and Judy Robert. He was transferring the fishermen from Sandridge Lake, to another location when the crash occurred. The crash is being investigated by the Federal Transportation Safety Board and the OPP. Ross W. MURRAY Announcement: Richard Courtis and Randall Johns are pleased to announce the recent election of their senior partner, Ross Murray, B. Comm., M.B.A., LL.B., as a Bencher of the Law Society of Upper Canada. Some 23,000 lawyers in Ontario elect Benchers to govern the Law Society of Upper Canada. Benchers take care of their responsibilities in regular monthly meetings and committee meetings at Osgoode Hall in Toronto. They set standards for legal education and administer the Bar Admission Course. They also administer Legal Aid. In addition, they set professional standards, and make decisions about unauthorized practice and lawyers' funds for clients' compensation. Ross stood 14th out of the candidates running from outside Metropolitan Toronto in the recent election, and is the only Bencher elected from Northwestern Ontario. Congratulations, Ross.
