Situated across the street from the Canadian Pacific Railway Station the building was used a traveller's home, operated by the St. Jeans during the 30's and 40's. It offered room and board and its dining room had quite a reputation. Helen LeBlanc, who has lived next door for 25 years with her husband Edgar, said "St. Jean's, with home cooked meals, was a really nice place to eat." After the St Jeans Ict the business go it changed hands fairly regularly, Le Blanc said. During the sixties it was a place to play pinball and pool and get a quick snack. It became known as Triple C when Dom Carmisan began operating it. LeBlanc said she is going to miss watching all the kids go back and forth between the store and the high school.
