Schreiber Library news The fall hours are now in effect at the Schreiber Public Library, the library being open Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The fall sessions of Story Hour will commence in October. The 3-5 year olds will meet in the library from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Thursdays, and the 6-10 year olds will hold their sessions Saturday afternoons from 2:00 to 3:00. These sessions will start October 11 and 13 respectively. The Library was very busy during Literacy Day. There were approximately sixty students and their teachers from the Schreiber Public School reading in the library for one hour. Many of the children came back on Saturday afternoon to add to their time read. We will be celebrating National Family Week October 1- 7 with a draw for two sweatshirts (one child, one adult). The Schreiber Public Library will be holding contests during the week. On October 17 the library will co-sponsor the performance of JUGGLEKNOTS as organized by the Ontario Library Service-North and funded by the Outreach Ontario Programme of the Ministry of Culture and Communications. The perfor- mance will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the gymnasium of Holy Angel's School. The entertainment is" suitable for elementary school children and family audiences.
