We meet once a week beginning, Thursday, July 12th at 1:00 p.m. in the library. There will be a weekly selec- tion of books, attendance prize draws and games. On completion of the program you will receive a reading certifi- cate and enjoy the festivities of a graduation party. Children 8 -13 years of age may register in person or by call- ing 825-3819. Senior Bowling News The Senior Citizens Golden Age Bowlers held a bowling wind-up at Birchwood Terrace - a delicious turkey dinner was enjoyed by all. This amounts to an increase of $31.30 on a house with a market value of $58,000. The 1990 School mill rates for the Elementary & Secondary panels is 165.579 mills, up°23.073 mills from 1989. The Public and Separate mill rates differ only marginally. The mill rate increase is 16.191%, an increase of $74.41, on a house valued at $58,000. The General Municipal rate increase, reflects the current inflationary trend, even though the Provincial General Support Grants remain fixed at their 1989 level.
