Celebrate '19911 to get the ball glove softened out and get old faithful ready to snag those hot grounders and nestle those long fly balls into the trusty pocket. All the league executives are reminded of the ballfield meeting Wednesday, April 11 at 7:00 p.m. in Meeting Room #1. All groups are reminded to have their tournament dates and field time requests ready for this meet- ing. Summer Programs- The rec department is now busy planning its summer programs. Persons wishing input into what programs we conduct or having ideas on expanding or changing our regu- lar programs should contact the rec office as soon as possible. Ball Hockey- The arena is all set to go for ball hockey! The session will commence on Tuesday, April 2411 at 7:00 p.m. The program will run as a drop-in format to get things going. Sessions will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings and is open to everyone 16 years of age and over. Indoor Soccer- The rec department is now forming an Indoor Soccer program for boys and girls 11 years of age and over. Registrations have been distributed through the schools and participants are asked to bring their registrations to the rec complex. The program will begin Friday, April 2711 at 7:00 p.m. in the Schreiber Arena. Ballroom Dance- The dead- line for this exciting program is fast approaching. April 2011 is the last day we will accept names. The program is set to run on Saturday and Sunday, April 2811 and 2911 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Don't miss out on this chance to learn all the dance steps. Terrace Bay Rec News Programs Winter Sports come to a close- Once again our Ice Plant has shut down for another season. We would like to thank all those who participated in our programs this past winter. We look forward to seeing you in the upcoming activities. Jodi Figliomeni passed Preliminary Figure, the Dutch Waltz, and the Canasta Tango. Linnea Duffy passed the Dutch Waltz. Marnie Hamilton passed the Dutch Waltz and Canasta Tango. Deanna Figliomeni passed the Canasta Tango. Maria Elkin passed Preliminary Free-Skate, the Canada Day Committee- The Terrace Bay Canada Day Committee are looking for more volunteers to help with the Canada Day celebrations. Kimara Morrill passed Preliminary Free Skate, Preliminary Figure, the Dutch Waltz, and Canasta Tango. Congratulations girls! Our closing show "The Wizard| of Oz" was performed to a happy, audience Saturday, March 31, 1990. Following the show, skater. who had participated in competi tions and Test days throughou the year had an opportunity t display their individual talents. Edith Figliomeni did an excel lent job producing and directing while starring in this entertainin final ice show. Well done, Edith! it's The Great A&W Root Bear's Birthday.
