Winnie's Scribbles By Winnie Campbell Mrs. Ruth Hiller, President, presided over the regular monthly meeting of the United Church Women in the Church Hall on Wednesday evening with a good attendance of members present. Gwen Hadley led in devotions and also gave the financial state- ment, Marlene Doig read the min- utes and Correspondence. A sizeable donation was given to the Manitoba and Northwest Ontario Conference Bursary Fund and the Annual allocation to the Mission and Service Fund. A Mother's Day luncheon will be held on. Friday May 1th from 11:30 to 2:00 p. m. The U.C.U. will sponsor a Penny Auction at Birchwood- Terrace on May 17th. All present supported the Fellowship of the Least Coin.
