Many mem- bers attended - at the Rainbow Falls Bingo and games were played and a lunch was served. Mrs. Alma Hart won the lawn chair donated by Al Slater. Thanks to all who helped presi- dent Ken Davis. : The C.W.L. picnic was held on Sunday on the church grounds July 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Working at the tables were Leona and Bob Fournier, Art Leblanc, Mrs. B Plant and Mary Valentino and others. Thanks to all who helped. The Childrens races were good and looked after by Mr. and Mrs. Bourke and others. Our sympathy to the Ukrainics on the passing of Mr. Ukrainic. Mr. and Mrs. John Pewers from Peterborough are visiting friends here. A meeting was held at the Chimo Club for Lifeline on Tuesday afternoon. Films were shown. Attending was Alice Fairservice, mother of the bride, Sheila Fairservice, sister of the bride, from Alberta, and Barbara Mitchell of Schreiber. Many love- ly gifts were received. The gift table was looked after by Karen McBride and Paulctte Garneau. The guest book by Renee Garneau and Charlene Audzis. In the kitchen were Holly Meister, Earline Johnson, Marg Smith, and Sheila Valentino. Serving were Sandra Morrison, Margaret Audzis, Gerry Speziale, Cheryl Glad, Cathy Lengyl, Janice Ryan, and Brenda Garneau.
