Women of the Moose news Terrace Bay Chapter #1426 Women of the Moose held their business meeting on Sept. 18 with Senior Regent Kimberly TenHoeve presiding. Recorder Gisele Legacy read the minutes of the previous meet- ing and the Treasurer's Report was given. A thank-you card was read from Lois Pinkerton. The chapter received a letter from Mooseheart informing the chapter that they earned the Award of Achievement for 1987-88. Also, Junior Graduate Regent Sadie Benko is eligible to receive her green cap at the Moose con- vention to be held in Niagra Falls. Gisele Legacy received her past Senior Regent's card. The annual Hallowe'en dance will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29. Heather Sechesky will convene a Hallowe'en party for the kidies on ~ Sunday, Oct. 30. Following the meeting, Shirley Mikus of the Disability Action Group (DAG) gave a very infor- mative talk about the aims and purposes of the group. College of Regents Chairman Alma Hart thanked Shirley for coming out and telling the mem- bers about DAG. A lovely lunch of squares and birthday cake ws served by Alma Hart and her committee. Birthday wishes of the month went to Heather Sechesky. The raffle was won by Gisele Legacy, while the Pot of Gold was won by Sadie Benko.
