~ Cochrane lawyer announces northern riding candidacy The Cochrane-Superior Pro- gressive Conservative Association has its first candidate for the nomi- nation in the Riding of Cochrane- Superior, which extends from Cochrane up to Nipigon and includes Moosonee, Moose Factory and other far north communities. John Rogers, a 33-year-old Cochrane lawyer with the firm Karam, Rogers & Lanthier, has indicated _his for the past year and a half has been the President of the Cochrane Board of Trade. "There is great opportunity here in the North for people to live a quality lifestyle. We need a mem- ber of Parliament on the side of the intention to scek the nomination. Mr. Rogers was born and 'raised in Windsor, Ontario and spent two years in Toronto before settling in the town of Cochrane in 1983.
