Deadline for the July Session is June 17. Second session will commence on August 1. Deadline for the August Session is July 22. _ Participants must have a valid Recreation Membership. Must be 4 years of age before July 6, 1988 or entered into the Mom and Tot pro- gram. Red Cross Programs, Royal Life Saving and Special Programs will be offered. Tot Lot Registration Registration forms for Tot Lot 1988 have been distributed through the schools or you may register your child for the summer program by dropping into the Recreation Office. Swim Program The swim program registrations have been distributed through the schools. Additional forms are avail- able at the recreation office. Deadline for registration for the first session, which takes place from July 4 to July 22, is Friday, June 24 at 4.00 pm. Please note that a late registration fee will be charged to those who sign up after the deadline. Men's Fastball Tournament Well, fastball is back in Schreiber! The Wailers Fastball team is hosting a tournament from June 17-19 with teams from Thunder Bay to White River partic- ipating. If you wish to see some fast-paced action, plan to take in some of these games. Mixéd Slowpitch Rubber Boot Tournament If you stop by the ball field JUne 29 through July 3 and see adults running around the bases in rubber boots and taking to the bases backwards, don't worry; they yknow what they are doing. The Schreiber Mixed Slowpitch League is hosting their 1st Annual Rubber Boot Tournament. They are expecting 20 teams to participate in this unique form of baseball. Don't miss the fun and action! Canada Day Run The deadline for the Canada Day Run has been extended, but lime is running out for you to regis- ter in this exciting event. Remember, you don't have to run the 5 km distance; walkers are also encouraged to participate. The run/walk is scheduled to begin at 10.00 am sharp on Friday, July 1 at the ball park.
