National Lifeguard Service Course The Port Hole in Marathon will be presenting a National Lifeguard Service course to be held on April 8,9,10 and April 22,23, and 24. Application forms can be obtained at the township and recre- ation offices. Summer Programs It is time to start thinking about our summer programs. The Recreation department is planning to run a minor ball program from May 15 to the end of June, and a drop-in soccer program would then operate in July and August. If these programs are going to operate, we will need coaches , umpires and referees. Anyone wishing to volun- teer for any of these positions should leave their name and phone number at the Recreation office. Swim program The recreation department is anticipating running 2 -- 3 week sessions at White Sand Beach again this year. The lessons would begin on Monday, July 4. The sec- ond session is expected to run from July 25 to August 12. First Aid Course The-recreation department is now accepting registration for an Emergency First Aid Course.
