He said two team reps and one interested individual showed up, but the other four attending were executive members. The league is five years old, and Wood said it is traditionally a strong league.'Last year's season fielded ten teams and had 180 members signed up and ready to play ball. Wood can only hope he hears that call again this ycar. "Everyone wants to play, but few people are dircctly involved, and we're getting less and less sup- port," he told the News. He stressed that he is looking at the matter positively, but he feels that more help is needed to run all the tournaments and activities of the league. The league is involved in a few tournaments in town, and Wood said that one or two teams go out of town to play.
