"A Guide to the Landlord and Tenant Act" focuses on residential rental units and aspects of the Act dealing with such issues as leases, security deposits, evictions, sublet- ting, and repair and maintenance of apartments. Staff at 21 local rent review offices located throughout the province field some 500,000 inquiries a year about landlord and tenant matters. More than half the questions are about issues that the Landlord and Tenant Act covers. The Act was amended last June to extend pro- tection to roomers, boarders, and lodgers. Free copies of "A Guide to the Landlord and Tenant Act" can be obtained from local rent review offices, or by contacting: The Ministry of Housing 777 Bay St., 17th floor Communications Branch Toronto, Ontario MSG 2E5 (416) 585-7041 There are also clubs and carts to rent if needed, and green fees are to be paid before you can play. Roy and Evelyn Cornfield will be looking after the course this year, and with their knowledge and experience the course will be in excellent shape again this year. The golf club is presently in the process of hiring a clubhouse man- ager for the 1988 season. If anyone has any questions regarding the golf club, they can contact any member of the execu- tive.
