The Schreiber Kings travelled to Thunder Bay on the weekend to par- ticipate in a 12-team invitational Ban- tam Hockey Tournament sponsored by the Fort William Minor Hockey Association. On Friday, Dec. 5, Schreiber met the Nip-Rock Rangers in their first game with Nipigon, skating to a 6-3 win. Sheil and Lasook had two each for Nipigon with Dunbar and Czigli get- ting. singles. Replying for Schreiber was David Figliomeni with two and Mike Duhaime with one. On Saturday morning, a vastly im- proved effort by the Kings produced a well-earned 3-1 victory over the An- drews team from Thunder Bay. Dale Wilson, David Figliomeni and Christopher Commisso scored for Schreiber with Rob Dixon picking up the single goal for Andrews. The Kings' players were presented with individual gold medals and a championship trophy to be retained by the hockey club.
