Page 2, Terrace Bay-Schreiber News, Wednesday, November 26, 1986 Make chocolate bears from homemade bread Homemade breads are a Christmas delight especially when they are shaped into whimsical forms such as this chubby, cheerful bear. This edible, eye-catching bear is a moist, chocolate-laden yeast bread that is sure to add cheer to a festive table. You might want to make some ex- tra 'bears' for holiday gifts from your kitchen. Chocolate Christmas Bears are made with Fleischmann's Fast Ris- ing Active Dry Yeast. This yeast is dissolved in warm water (110 F- 40 C) and sugar before it is added to the dry ingredients. It will foam when mixed with the water and sugar indicating that it is ready for use.
