We all have our dif- ferences as old folks always do, our politics, our family ties, and our rel- igions too. But when the game gets underway and the balls begin to roll, we don't have time to argue when the GOLDEN AG- ERS bowl! We sometimes get a one- ball strike, and now and then a spare. Of headpins, corners, and the splits, we seem to get our share. And even when we do our best, the gutters take their toll. There are lots of variations when the GOLDEN AG- ERS bow!! For some it is a pleasure to make the maples fly, Some like to use their bod- ies for "English" on the sly. But when the ball is on its way and the pins begin to roll, we hope for strikes for everyone when the GOLDEN AGERS bow!! We know the noise is deafening when the pins go flying high. The clatter echoes through the roof and reaches to the sky. But if you think the din is loud when the balls start in to roll, you should hear our cheering sections' when the GOLDEN AGERS bow!! No matter just how hard we try we sometimes can- not click. The ball goes here, the ball goes there.. .it really makes us sick. Then we stumble on the foul line and wind up in the hole! We all have our unlucky days when the GOLDEN AGERS bow!! Some like to wear their bowling shirts, some have sweaters too. In browns, green, reds and pinks, they come in every hue. But you can bet your bottom dollar and stake your very soul, that you won't see any streakers when the GOL- DEN AGERS bow!! The hunters have their hunting ground where they go when they die. The cowboys have their hea- ven...a ranch up in the sky. But somewhere in that Pro- mised Land where St. Peter calls the roll, are the ALLEYS OF THE ANG- ELS where the GOLDEN AGERS bow!! We have our life-long wishes and hope they all come true. We wish for health and happiness, and sometimes riches too. But when we have to cross the bar and the Reaper takes his toll, we hope to have a grandstand seat where the GOLDEN AGERS bow!!
