Page 6, Terrace Bay-Schreiber News, Wednesday, April 4, 1984 Local Gymnasts Shine The Terrace Bay Tumblers hosted their third successful Gymnastics Meet on March 24th and 25th. Male and female gymnasts from Thunder Bay,. Fort Frances, Geraldton _and Terrace Bay competed in their various age categories and ability levels. The local club made their best showing ever in competition. The team members placed in the top three i in all categories entered. In the men's competition, all gymnasts qualified for regional competition and Ian Creighton and Dan Crago of Thunder Bay and Danny O'Keefe of Terrace Bay can now compete in the "Provincials."' In Argo B, the only competitor was Shaun Williams of Lakehead Boys Gymnastics Club and in Novice National, Danny O'Keefe, Terrace Bay Tumblers performed excellent -routines in the Optional and Compulsory events. In Tyro B Optionals, Andrew Bon- nema, TBT placed first over all with the highest scores in each event. Paul Lindsey LBGC was second and Kevin Morri LBGC was third. In the Compulsories, Andrew again shone, placing first All Around with Kevin second and Paul third. In Tyro A, lan Creighton LBGC and Dan Crago LBGC placed first and second respectively in optional and compulsory events. Results of the Girls' Invitational are below.
