A Weekend of. Broom- ball: This weekend April 9th and 10th, eleven teams (4 Ladies and 7 Mens) will be participat- ing in the Double Elim- enation Tournament. This will be the first Broomball Tournament of the season and will climax an excellent year for the participants of the new sport. Oil Painting & Drawing Workshop: This oil painting and drawing week-end . workshop includes in- dividual instruction -for beginner and advanced. Friday evening will be spent learning how to use paints, drawing, loosening up, and com- posing. Saturday we will be outdoors if possible working on one or two ° paintings which will al- low the application of the techniques pre- sented on Friday even- ing. Included in fee are one board, paper, paints and use of brushes. This workshop will be held Friday May 6th from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday May 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in the multi-purpose room of the recreation centre. March Break Activities: We hope that the students of the schools enjoyed the variety of activities we arranged for their enjoyment dur- ing the March Break. The Novelty Bowling, Treasure Hunt, Pac Man and Frogger were the most popular events of the week. The winner from St. Martin School in Pac Man was Linda Gerlach and Shaune Morrisseau -won the Frogger contest. The winner from the High School and the Public - School for Pac Man was John Gosselin and. for the Frogger contest it was Warren Sutherland who won.
