A Moose Licence will only be valid to hunt a calf moose unless it is validated with a Bull or Cow Moose Validation Tag. These tags are issued for a specific Wildlife Management Unit. To obtain a tag, you must enter the Validation Tag Draw or hunt through a tourist outfitter who has an allocation of tags. An information package has been mailed to all 1982 moose licenced hunters containing details of the new program and an application:form. If you did not receive this package and wish to participate, please contact a Ministry of Natural Resources' District Office nearest you for am application form.
