NORTH SHORE BRIDGE CLUB Twelve bridge enthusiasts turned out on Thursday evening of last week at Holy Angels School for the first evening of the Club's new season. In the Howell Event first place went to Mr. Art LeBlanc and Mr. Pat Guina with P. and |. Gillen, K. Mikkonen and G. Lapenski tieing for second and third places. Bridge will be held every week from now on starting at 7:30 on Thursday evenings at Holy Angels Separate School at Schreiber All bridge players are very welcome! R : WORKSHOP FOR MENTALLY AND PYSICALLY HANDICAPPED ADULTS | | The Marathon Association for the Mentally Retarded received a Canada Works Grant to provide a workshop for Mentally and Physi- cally Handicapped Adults in the area. "Working Together" operates out of the Marathon Recreation Centre between the hours of 9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. The objective of this workshop is to help fulfill the participants need for friend- ship, stimulation, the creative use of leisure time, and to provide employment opportunities.
