He had been in poor health for some time. He serv- ed with Canadian Army in Korea for two years. He then worked on the D.E.W. Line in Baffin Island, At the time of his death. he was employed with Yellow Cab in the city of Edmonton, : Alberta. Service. at Park Memorial Chapel, 1978. ST. Edna Ramsey read an article on "The Education of Children By Parents", the aim of which should be to "Make Christians", The Penny Auction Report was read by Pat McGraw and the President thanked each and every member for their support of this project. A special thank-you went out to Clare Roen and Susanna White for the excellent job they did in convening the event. _ The Communications and Public Relations Convenor pointed out two articles in the "Canadian League" Magazine, Fall '78 edi- tion concerning "Natural Methods of Family Planning" and a re- port on the Save-A-Family Plan which we participated in last Christmas. She also suggested that members could buy a sub- scription to a very worthwhile Catholic Magazine titled "Our Familys. We are still hopeful that a generous member will offer to take on the kitchen convenorship. The Canada Packer labels will be sent away to obtain two large serving pitchers for the kitchen. Mary Clare Kennedy read a very interesting article on "How to Use a Safety Deposit Box!. The Christmas party plans are well on the way.
