(22) (HESIAL TE The continuing fine fall weather has supported good progress in the construction of the new hospital. More than 2,000 square feet of the roof have been laid and, on November Thth, workmen started to enclose the building. Each day impressive changes on the building site are noticeable. A colour scheme for the in- terior decoration of the hospital has been chosen and we feel dreams now are beginning to take shape in reality. Members of the Board and hospital staff attended the 0.H.A. Annual Convention in Toronto on November 6, 7 and 8. The theme for this year's conference was "Hospitals in Transition". From a number of interesting seminars delegates learned much of new developments in health care technology. Chariges in the design of hospital equipment were of particular interest. The staunch support of the Hospital Auxiliary is gratefully acknowledged. This dedicated group continues to evolve projects whick will contribute to the building fund. They are to be congratulated on the success of their recent Toy Sale and their canvass for memberships, which is their special November Proj- ect. ~The Building Fund has benefited recently by a donation from the Kinsmen Club of Terrace Bay to be used in furnishing two pediatric rooms and the: playroom.
