W.J. Hanley, Clerk-Treasurer, Township of Terrace Bay AUX. TO McCAUSLAND HOSPITAL TOURS WILSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL Sheelagh Hamilton (President), Lilltan Christie (Correspond- ence Secretary), Helen Croll (1st Vice) and Anne Wilkes (Public Relations) formed a committee to tour the Wilson Memorial General Hospital in Marathon. Qur delegation was primarily concerned with the Gift Shop run by the Marathon Auxiliary, but also enjoyed an informat- ive tour of their hospital. Our purpose was to compare Gift Shops to see if there were any new ideas that we could use in planning our new expanded Gift Shop for the new hospital. We were interested in the types of goods sold, the methods of display, the tuck cart (used to serve patients), and general purchasing, pricing and management policies. We continued our our discussions with the Marathon auxiliary ladies at the home of Jo Malloy, President of the Marathon Auxiliary, while en- joying a delicious lunch. We would like to thank the Mara- thon Auxiliary for arranging the tour and for their hospi tality. C.W.L.
