It will be a five mile run/walk with each person participating telling how long it will take them to run/walk the five miles. The person closest to the time he/ she stated will receive a turkey donated by Costa's. There will be one winner only. This event will take place on Saturday, October 21st. As further details are de- veloped they will be released. Call or drop in at the recreation office and leave vour name, phone number and time. ULUNFEDERATION COLLEGE PROGRAMS: Several College progra in co-operation with Schreiber Parks and Recreation have been lined up for this fall and winter. If you have submitted your name for a program (s) please come in and register at the recreation office - ur tairs in the Schreiber Town Office. We are offering one additional program Ballroom Dancing (fox trot, rumba, etc.) if you are interested please let the off- ice know. ART CLUB: The Art programs have started in Schreiber, the Senior Club is on Monday afternobns and Wednesday evenings and the Junior Club sessions are held Tuesday even- ing and all 'are held at the Public School. There should be some indication shortly, on the status of the grant. ROSSPORT SOCIAL Miss Lorraine Seppala and Floyd Harnden are leaving this week to attend the Strat- ford Festival and holiday in Eastern Ontario Mrs. David Mushquash has left to attend the TOPS weight watchers convention in Thunder Bay. Mrs. Josephine Hubelit who has spent the summer season' on Parisienne Island Light- house has arrived home for the fall and winter.
