OCTOBER 4, 1978 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE'S PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES DAY #2 t | The teaching staffs of Holy Angels School, Schreiber and St. Martin School, Terrace Bay shared in-a workshop on Monday 1978 09 25 at St. Martin School. Mr. Ed McCluskey, Board Resource Teacher, introduced the recently developed "Planning Manual. The moming session included practical activities in Science which would serve as aids for the Long Range and Daily Planning portions of the Planning Manual. Teachers, after do- ing the activities, were shown how the pre-planning would have been done and recorded. The afternoon session provided the opportunity for the teachers in their respective Divisions to plan a sample unit based on objective(s) listed in the "Formative Years". A display of activity kits and reading materials geared for special education was set up in the gym and available for teachers to persue. A special thanks to Mr. McCluskey for a well-organized, highly beneficial day for all who participated.
